Kiss-Tory 101

Just got an awesome email about kissing. Want to get a discussion going over here about all things kiss related. It can be daunting, no? We all remember the nerves and the worries that we would be bad at it.

Kissing advice? As a guy I've had the best results just going for it. If you feel a connection and you want to kiss a girl, don't beat around the bush, be direct and go for it. If she isn't interested she'll certainly let you know. As long as you aren't moving super fast (i.e. you just met the poor girl) she'll probably be pretty civil about it and you can continue being friends.

The two situations you want to avoid are a) when you want to kiss the girl but you've been missing all the signs that she really wants you to kiss her. Eventually she'll get tired of waiting and either kiss you first, or move on to another boy. That's a wasted opportunity for you. And b) she knows you want to kiss her, but she doesn't feel that way about you. She can't say anything because you haven't actually made a move yet and she really wants to clear things up so you two can focus on being friends. Waiting is just postponing the inevitable. Go for it and let her tell you how she feels so that there is no awkward tension.

Those are my two cents. If anyone has any contradictory experiences I heartily welcome them to contribute. My experience is hardly all encompassing.
