I am fourteen and I've never gone out with anyone.

I've never kissed anymore either and its really annoying when I tell people since they seem outrageously surprised.

NO! THIS IS NOT! WEIRD! The right time will come for you to do all of these things - to go out with someone, kiss them, or even do more. Don't worry about how you "measure up" to other people. Your romantic/sexual life is nothing that should be rushed - honestly the longer you wait for/to do things, the more you consider them, the more special they are. Move at your own pace and do what is right for you! (And when you do, make sure you are smart about it all - don't let anyone rush you into doing something you don't want to, make sure they treat you well and respect you, and be sure you use protection when the time comes!). not weird at all! i used to stress about this sooo much because i never had a boyfriend or kissed anyone either until i started hooking up with my current boyfriend-my current boyfriend of 6 months today. highschool dating is so dumb and superficial. it's honestly not even worth it. there is nothing wrong with you at all. people like you and me are just picky and dont need a girlfriend or boyfriend to define ourselves or be happy. and trust me- when you do enter a relationship you wont be affected by this at all.

Thought a guy should throw some input your way. It is definitely ok that you don't have a boyfriend by now, and are holding out for someone decent (I remember a lot of options when your 14 being kinda wacky if you know what i mean). People are so surprised because you must be really cool and everyone thinks you must have your pick of any guy (or girl) you want (-:. You have a lot of years to go before you should freak out about not getting any and if people are already surprised well... im sure you will find someone great soon enough.

im 17 and when i was 14 i contracted HSV2 aka Gelital Herpies..and the worse thinks about it was from my first relationship and in that relationship we used safe sex practices (condoms!)
i was devestated but not im exepted..but every day i wish i could turn back time..i mean now im 17 and having a baby!me and the father are together still but i started dadtin and doing the dirty at an early age and now i regreat it..

but my best friend on the other hand is a virgen and has never kissed any1 she just wants to make sure that her first is purfect..u should to..i was cheeted out on life(so it feels) because i wanted to ruch things u have ur hole like i mean lik 75 years left do u really wanna jeperdise anything??

it's not weird. i didn't get my first kiss until i was about your age. it's ok for people to be surprised, but I know people that are my age, i'm 18, and they still haven't kissed a guy or gone out with anybody. it's not weird to be 14 and not have kissed or gone out with anybody. i have a sister and she's never kissed a guy or gone out with one and she's getting read to drive. so, don't think that you're wierd or odd. you're still pretty young. and wether you're an 8th grader or a freshman, you have plenty of time to get that first kiss or what ever, if you do get kissed, it'll probably be sooner than you think, and when it comes to more than that, keep in mind what this site is all about. sex education. it's very important. and if you do get into a relationship, remeber that you can always say no, or use protection, a condom, spermicide, birth control pills, or ask your doctor about a kind of birh cotrol that they put in your arm and is good up to three years, and there are ones that are good up to five years as well. i'm not saying to only use what's in your arm, but be careful. i suggest that in the future if you do decide to have sex, then use a condom as well, you wan tto protect yourself as much as you can, okay?

Nope. My boyfriend was twenty two when he had his first kiss with me. I was kind of nervous at first and wondered if I was supposed to make everything really special but he didn't seem like he needed it after all. He says it still kind of embarrasses him, but to me I think it's really amazing that this person in my life has decided to kiss me of all people after waiting so long.
