Condoms in 4 Easy Steps

Hey MTSS peoples,

I'm working on a simple list to help people learn how to put on a condoms safely and correctly. Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful.

Here's my list so far:

1) Open Carefully (Here we talk about checking the exp. date, not opening the package with your teeth or powertools, etc)


2) Right Side Up (Make sure you put the correct side on the top of the wang/johnson/penis. If you put it on wrong, get a new condom. 'Cause precum carries cooties too.)


3) Pinch the Tip and Unroll (Air bubbles cause condom breakage. Condom breakage causes babies.)


4) Hard On / Hard Off (Guys, we know she wants to cuddle, but get the condom out and off first. Girls, when he does that, avoid the boy-juice. Once the condom is off and thrown away you can cuddle, if he's still awake.)

Have to admit that this isn't excatly my area of expertise (before you say anything, thats because generally being couply isnt my area of expertise. Its not that i choose to not rubber up, i just never had the oppurtunity) but what you're saying does seem to make sense to me . . .

. . . me being someone who doesn't know what you're talking about. But at least I have a better idea when the time comes. No pun intended.

You should probably include to hold on to the condom when you're pulling out.
I've heard stories from strangers in 7/11. Aha. Fun times...

Just based off of what my sex educators have told me I advise the following:

You should mention something about storing correctly too. A lot of men keep their condoms in their wallets and that can damage them.

Uh...and maybe mention to add like a drop of waterbased lube in the condom for his comfort; a lot of guys complain that "the feeling isn't the same" when they have a condom on, so one drop of lube is safe enough to make sure the condom doesn't slip off, yet still enhance the sensation.

You forgot to include the part about his penis still being covered in semen after the condom comes off. Snuggling + contact with intimate parts - cleanup = pregnancy risk.

Im not too sure about your experiences, but I personally do not want to smear any semen on my beautiful lady. Yet we still snuggle afterward. If you want to do that, just make sure you try and keep your penis away from her, as weird as that may sound. Usually, when you have a sexual relation with a condom, you take it off and should wipe off any extra liquids on your penis at the same time. Takes 3 seconds and a box of Kleenex near your bed and voila, safe pre-sleep intimacy.

But then, if you don't wear a condom, then screw the clean-up! Direct intimacy :D But yeah, only do that if you trust your partner and she uses some type of pill or somewhat. There, I did the warning segment of my post.

Oh, and don't flush your condoms people! Throw them out! (Add this as Step 5?) Into dah garbage! Which means don't re-use them... *shudder* Ugh

I hate to say this, and it makes me shudder,
But they're ARE reusable condoms... >.<<br /> Female condoms are considered reusable,
And people want to make a resuable condom were you just turn it inside out and wash it out.

Always start with a new one. I know you want to try and save you're 75cents but really... think of it this way.

I mean, I've had a few girls just ask me to stay inside of them after.
I really don't know why, and I'd feel to awkward to ask. >.<<br /> That's the whole point of MTSS I think. Aha.
